Kingston HyperX Cloud II mic not working

Hi,

I received my cloud2 headset in the mail yesterday.
First impressions are pretty good, however i can't get the mic to work for some reason.
I've tried using front- and back USB2 and USB3 ports, the headset is set to default device, the drivers are updated and the mic isn't muted on the USB dongle.
Anyone got any tips please?

For some reason this is set to 0 dB without me being able to use the slider.
