I'm looking to upgrade my kids gaming PC's from a little old GTX 1050 to something like a 2060 or 2070. In fairness they mainly play roblox, but sometimes dabble in some fortnight, planet zoo etc So a used GPU in that sort of range should give them a fair few years. In turn I need to upgrade the PSU (Using a low VS350 from Corsair) What are these off brands like I'm not taking anything to the limit or high end and Gigabyte's PSU's have always played on my mind with their fire issue.

I was going to get a MSI A650BN watt bronze psu, but these other options offer similar bronze, and wattage for less but at what cost with the internals?

A lot of brands are hit or miss depending on the model. What specific models are you looking at?

any of those you can find for a deal, should work.

but, being the most important part of any system (no power, no gaming)
i personally prefer any corsair RM--x (no RM--e), as the what you "save" at purchase,
might cost you later, even if its just shorter lifetime/replacement,
and most of the time would also still survive the next cpu/gpu upgrade,
especially considering 10 warranty etc.
