KVM switch only works in Safe Mode

I don't know if you guys seen it or not, but I posted a thread a few days ago. So I finally got the KVM working...but there's still in issue.

For some reason the KVM only works in Safe Mode. When I do a normal boot the screen goes blank after the Windows 7 splash. I can hear Windows loading, but no video. I booted into Safe Mode and it works fine in safe mode so this eliminates the KVM being the culprit. I suspected it might be the resolution, but it's much lower than the maximum supported resolution.

Any idea?

NVIDIA graphics card? I noticed that, on my KVM, whenever I do not have a computer with an NVIDIA card selected in the KVM as it is booting, the display (DVI) never gets initiated. My solution is to, when booting a computer with an NVIDIA card, select that computer with the KVM before booting it. Once the computer with an NVIDIA card has reached the desktop, it no longer matters if it is selected or not.

It also helps to select the correct input on the monitor then disable "auto source" so it is always looking in the right place for a signal.

No NVIDIA card. Using a AMD 5450 IIRC out of my HTPC until I buy a new card to replace my dead GTX 260. One thing I also noticed. My Razer DeathAdder doesn't like to play nice with the KVM :(

So I need to find a replacement mouse.

One of the cons in the feedback mentions display issues:
American Dad said:
-Low resolution modes such as DOS and boot prompts are not displayed therefore you cannot troubleshoot through this KVM and must hook your monitor up to the unit directly to see the boot-up output display such as in BIOS. If something goes wrong, all you will ever see is a black screen with nothing on it until you hook your monitor up directly.

I dunno...and at $700, I think you got ripped off. My $450 ($350 for KVM + $100 for cables) has a two-port USB hub and VGA support on top of what that has (StarTech StarView KVM).

I'd say refund or RMA. If I were in your shoes, I would lean toward refund.

Bought it locally much cheaper.
