Hello

I recently acquired a set of 64gb Kit CL16 -3200mhz Upgraded from 16GB KIT CL22 3200mhz
I was going to go for 32GB Kit but being indecisive manufacturers stop making the ones i want and only 64gb kits are left available...
I picked them up for $129 USD over at amazon..

My Laptop is MSI GP76 11UG Leopard - Intel 11800H CPU 8C/16T - 8GB RTX 3070 1670MHz Boost Clock 140W
The Surprising one was Wolfenstein YoungBlood, personally i think it was 16gb held it back not because of the lower CL16
Gears Tactics got a nice small boost and Shadow of the tomb raider got a tiny bit of boost...

Here are some benchmarks if you are interested :

Very interesting results. I always assumed the effects of RAM latency were exaggerated, but it looks like it can have a major effect depending on the game. I guess if I ever feel like it I can buy a RAM kit better than my cheap 16GB CL42 5200MHz (DDR5 ofc). Nice to know the upgrade actually helped.

You have a newer system than mine, maybe the upgrade won’t be so apparent in current games but give it 2 or 3 years then the faster ram might give a somewhat a boost, but don’t expect a major boost
