The model of the laptop is Packard Bell Easynote MH36.
I was able to find all the correct drivers for use under Win7...except the camera.
I'm currently trying to get as much as possible to work, before giving it away to my mother.
The onboard keyboard does not work either, but a new one is on it's way.
I have been trying to find the correct camera drivers (also the correct camera that is installed). I do know it does work, because the woman who gave it to me - I have repaired the laptop once (the dc jack was replaced last year).
However, I can't recall if I could see on the mobo if there was any 'name' that could give me a hint. I shall try later today and open it up again and take a look.
Windows 7 home premium 32 bit is installed. 3Gb ram changed to 4Gb ram. Hdd was swapped to a fresh new one (still 320Gb).
EDIT: After opening the screen I found out that there is no camera there.. Just the mountings and a connector. However, I have a camera that fits good there (HP Pavillion - DV series). And can connect it directly. Problem is now solved. Damn windows said it found a cam..
