LCD Temp

Should LCD Monitors be very hot to the touch near the top and back? I have never noticed mine being that warm and I've owned it for 2 years. Its not burning hot, I can hold onto it, it's just very hot and I'm concerned it may catch fire.

I'm wondering the same thing. My LCD gets very warm at the top right corner of the display. Is this normal?

With mine I can feel heat coming off it when I get to about a foot from the screen.

My LCD waa bought last x-mas and it gets warm cause i leave it on like all the time so i think its normal alot of plasma or LCD tv's say the same thing in the manual that the TV will get hot so dont cramp it up etc its completely normal im pretty sure.

ya np dude but ya its normal tv's have the warning and all the lcds in my house give off heat infact if you have a laptop and the backing is thin enough turn it on and let it run for a bit and put your hand on the back of the screen and you will feel it get a little warm.

yeah mine radiates heat too. hey maybe someone should come up with a way of attaching fans to the vents!

Mines not even hot,mildy warm i would say and its on all day every day.
