I bought one espcially for the Argb list. I liked it and the Chrome around the front ports. Does anyone knows what the Usb-C port is espcially for? Charge the Phone? I have a Asrock z590 oc formula motherboard. And a Noctua NH-D12L
It is espcially designed to suit Lga1200 so the memorys are visible. The G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Series (Intel XMP) DDR4 RAM 32GB (2x16GB) 4000MT/s CL18-22-22-42 1.40V Desktop Computer Memory UDIMM - Silver (F4-4000C18D-32GTRS). Is good looking with the crystals.

I mean if it’s anything like the o11 I have then it’s a fully functional data port. The termination is a proper cable you plug into your board.

USB-C is just going to be a high speed data port assuming your motherboard doesn't have any provisions for using it for video or other modern uses for USB-C (I would also assume the case only treats it as a Type-C 3.1 and not a Thunderbolt/display port). It should function to both charge a phone, but also move data off the phone or connect an external drive (I have external M.2 housings that come with C to C cables). It won't be better for charging your phone over a dedicated charger as the phone likely will not recognize it as a fast charge option and you'll see longer charge times.

Unless the motherboard has USB-PD support. The Z590 OCF doesn't seem to.

That's an amazing board... hope OP is giving it a nice and cool i9-11900K :)

Yes i will buy one i9k. Is that the best model? There are two concacts from the chassi to the motherboard. One to the upper front and one to the 2 usb ports in the bottom. I only have one usb 3.2 on the motherboard as i can see in the picture. I then need a pcie card to the 2 usb 2.0 ports?

For the Z590, yes, the 11th Gen i9-11900K.

No need for a PCIe card.

In the first post you're showing the 011 Dynamic XL and in this latest one you're showing the 011 Dynamic EVO RGB. Are you considering a smaller case now?

What do you mean by "slim lists"?

The 011 Dynamic EVO RGB has a large amount of space for fans with an EATX board installed, even if you're running radiators too.

How do i connect a second usb 3.0 to the motherboard? I thought it only was one contact. I must check the manual. I also thought about giving the chassi 2 Argb lists as in this chassi.

I saw in the manual that there are 2 Usb 3.1 Gen1 Headers. So you had right. If it suits.

I don't blame you for being confused, they made a royal mess out of the USB naming convention. 3.1 Gen 1 basically means standard SuperSpeed USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) ports.

The motherboard you chose has 5, 10 and a single 20 Gbps port. I don't expect the case to support more than 5 Gbps connection reliably, so you should get used to connecting things onto the motherboard. A high-quality, 20 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 or whatever the hell they are calling it) capable hub is something you should look at purchasing.

Yes since the case is from 2019 it is true. It is complicated to change ports to newer when they are attached to a card that handles the Argb lighting to and the Usb-C port. I must check how the 2 usb connector cables in the chassi looks like.

I meant that i want to attach the Argb or RGB lists that are on the top and bottom to the EVO RGB chassi to my 011 Dynamic XL. I think the lists can suit at the top since there are some mm glitch when the top aluminium cover is on.

It was two 20 pins contacts in the chassi.

I have a Asus rog thor platinum ii 850W. Can it fit in the bottom of the chassi? It will be hidden otherwise as it original should be placed to the right bottom hidden by a side panel. It is to beautiful to hide. A ATX motherboard may be better than a EATX. It is the length on the motherboard that is the problem. The chassi is 18cm wide inside and the psu is 15cm wide.

As it can have a 360mm radiator at the bottom i guess a psu can do instead. But i guess the fan from the psu blows hot air into the motherboard then? Or graphic card.

Since the case has cable inputs or outputs. I guess motherboards cannot cover them. A psu must suit. I have not any motherboard to try with.

You should have 2 maybe 3 mounting places for psu, they mount behind the motherboard tray and will draw air in the thru the back panel and exhaust out the rear so no heat vented into case. Wife has same case and I have the r 011 Dynamic EVO. The XL has massive room for just about anything.

Yes but i want my rog thor platinum ii to be visible under the motherboard. It is to beautiful to hide. There are 2 hot swaps back. Can be replaced for example 3 psu.

Very nice.

That ram makes me moist, love the board too.

Ultra USB Power is supported on USB3_234 port Which according to your mobo's manual are thee 4 USB 3.1 type A ports directly below the PS2 ports on the back panel

Thanks. It is a pity that the board is from late 2021. I really like it. Especially the design. Not to much gaming look. But to be honest the board with a i5 2.40ghz. 2.60GHz at highest, this processor do very good. And highest ammount of ram was only 64gb on this board. But it is not little that to. I have 32gb now. I like it so much i have been looking for a new spare board. Amazon had none left since 2023 june. I hope that Asrock can do a board with the same design but much upgraded.

I tried my Asrock formula OC Z590 motherboard in the chassi and there was plenty of space for the psu at the bottom. But when the graphic card fans is pointed at the bottom and the psu fan over them it must be a little tricky? Or do the psu fan blows air trough to the back of the psu? I thought it come hot air from the fan upside.

psu fans normally exhaust out the back so they don't put extra heat into the case

That was good. I would rather have placed the psu in the original place. Back to the right. But the Rog thor platinum ii is to beautiful to hide.

I have understand that the bottom and the top only have support for 120mm fans. No screw holes for 140mm? I then need a 140mm fans case? Example Amazon have 3 fans in a case.

Wife has 280mm AIO mounted in top and 3-140mm fans in bottom...same case

I must measure. Are the fans single? You can buy ones in a box to. You insert the box at top or bottom and the fans are in the box. Are 140mm fans better then 120mm? I will buy Thermaltake riing plus tt. And they are expensive.

140mm's are generally quieter and will move more air vs the 120mm. Believe there's a comparision post somewhere here that lists a lot of fans. She wanted rgb ones to go with her motherboard and found some on amazon that seemed decent. Think they came in a 5 pack with hub. I'm still using fans that I've cleaned and oiled over the years lol.
