Lofree enters the TechPowerUp review database with the novel, highly transparent 1% dual mode keyboard. It uses a custom polycarbonate case and keycaps paired with clear Kailh switches to make for a Bluetooth keyboard that looks like a set of ice crystals when lit up bright white!

If you buy this you might as well buy a Nothing phone...

What happens when marketing team is oblivious to the world.

Edit: no .mp4 embedding? Nonetheless:

1% is a gross exaggeration of the market percentage with a use case for this nonsense product.

Wow. Next level e waste.

I reckon we'll have HDR-keyboards soon, with full range lighting at 1000 nits. Enjoy!

And every key being illuminated by a Cree X5 LED! You'd need an AWG 9 just for feeding the backlight.

Hi,
Nice concept but yeah special keys tough to see solid color might be best but guess at 200.us it's wow time
I do hate light breathing it's very annoying and the lighting wave is pretty annoying to but the kids I suppose love that type of crap animations.

Everyone knows this is an error the moment you look at it and think this was out of a dollar store 20 years ago, why the designer didn't?

At least make the top of the keycaps translucent so it's easier to read them. This is an atrocity.

When i think of a 1% keyboard, i think of this

I dont know if this is meant to be attractive, but... ugh.
Just put the writing on the inside, I can see this giving the impression of cheap misprinted text

Wow.
"The name is based on the see-through mollusc, but it's still a dumb name if I may say so myself."

This just hurts to look at.

It's the "driving at night" keyboard

Sure, they wanted the transparent aesthetic - but that doesnt mean it was a great idea.
Frosted semi-translucent keycaps would still have been see-through, without the eye trauma

Are the leds diffuse type or like a beam?

Also
"Lofree is a recently established keyboard brand with a portmanteau of "love" and "free" for the brand name. It seeks to offer high-quality products throughout emphasizing style and substance."

Typically high quality products come with a 3 year warranty minimum.

Neat idea...........although it does look more like a big flashlight than a keyboard when at full brightness :)

I've used enough clear/translucent stuff in the early-mid 2000s to know these things get pretty gross pretty fast.

Anyway I'm using a $20 generic chinese mech KB with RGB/silent switches and I have exactly zero interest in spending more.
