There are two ways to log out; one sometimes fails

anyone else seeing this?
 
I saw a similar issue a long time ago but couldn't reproduce it. Maybe it was the same issue. Logging out had an effect on the main page (and I could't log in again there). At the same time, I remained logged in on the forums page and was even able to report that to W1 via PM. He couldn't explain that right away but told me that separate session cookies are used on main and forum pages, so it's possble that one gets deleted and the other not.

But why would you ever log out?

Works fine here, however logging in afterwards was stuck, I saw that the page was reloading. I had to close the window and load the site again to log in. What browser are you using?
