I was going through my parts bin last night looking for some Xeon chips I know I have when I came across a brand new nvidia quadro 290. I forgot I had this. I never did find a use for it back when it was actually worth something.

I know nothing of this mining craze other than what I read on here from time to time.
I do have a HP workstation with an i5 something or other in it. I've never powered it on but it might make a good miner.

I have a spare R9 280X that would make a better mining card I'm sure.
 
I have about 3 of them collecting dust.... no, they barely make a good paper weight let alone anything else.
