I am not sure how this all got started, but the way in which my office is setup, I have the chassis to the left of my monitor. I'm guessing it started due to some SilverStone cases from years gone by, but I digress.

I am pondering a new build, and am finding myself in the market for a chassis that is either already set up to go on the left side (IE window or access to internals is on the right side of the chassis), but I'm am not against swapping the chassis orientation like I did in my C700P last. I feel that case is aged and I would like to replace it to take advantage of newer features cases have now.

I know there are some BeQuiet options that can be transformed to a left-side chassis, but I am thinking I want something less boring looking?!?!?
Looked at the Core P5 with top mounted I/O, but I feel that is too big overall, as in I couldn't fill it up to look right. At most, I will use a 360mm AIO to cool the CPU.

I do like open air designs, but I would want it to stand and not lay flat, so less of a test bench situation.

RGB is not mandatory, Drive space is not that important with just a 3.5" and 2.5" to contend with. Would not mind USB Type-C, maybe an optional or included vertical GPU mount, but not a deal breaker.

I figured with as much as you all surf the nets, follow news, or otherwise window shop at the e-tailers, I would try to pick your brains collectively, rather than attempting to keep trying to find this unicorn that I am not sure even exists.

EDIT:
Shit, sorry..... ATX form factor!

IIRC HP did that for their office machines and they are cheap. They're not good though.

Pretty sure it was a Raven, Fortress, or Temjin that started me on this path.

Not opposed to going back, if they had something worth bragging about. Unless I missed something?
As to me using it. I always found little niggles in SS cases that made me cringe when using them for a while. I also feel it looks a lot like my old Temjin, and is using a lot of the bits I found I did not care for over time.

I've also been thinking about a different type case for my next build, I really like this one.

Had one of the original HAF XB. Passed it to another at TPU. Wasn't really my thing, and sort of goes in with the test bench idea.

last one I saw similar to that (FT04) was the corsair 600c inverse but you will probably have to dig through ebay to find it. Wasn't the be quiet pro 900 modular? Maybe you can set that up to be reversed?

Not sure how I missed it, but that 600 would have worked a few years back, for sure.

I did mention the BQ, and the 900 does flip AFAIK. Just looking for something a bit more...irregular? I think its why I ended up flipping around the Cosmos. While just another box, it makes an attempt to not be the average chassis, if you will.

ummm....wow?

Not sure about the quality, but essentially a normalized SilverStone chimney layout for $100-ish!
Not sure I trust it either TBH. I give it to you, though, that you hit unusual and left-sided all in one swoop! The shining stars bit is a tad too....14 year old for me? No offense to anyone, just the closer I get to 50 the less I want tacky if its lit.

Left sided cases are mostly inverted ATX Cases.

Found an article regarding to to this topic. You might want to check it.

Best Inverted PC Case in 2021 [ATX & Micro-ATX Computer Cases]

Many of them we have covered in this thread. Not bad cases, but all of them are pretty standard looking, at least to me.
A lot of those cases I have had and used. Reasons why all of them are not in use any longer.

To sort of help you into my mind. At this point I am seriously pondering a Core P3 with a table top monitor stand, if I can find one that can carry the weight safely.

There is a different design cued case, but won't be a direct inverted ATX case. Yet, you can rotate 180 degrees and use one. Only problem, front IO ports will be inverted as well ( you can put those at the motherboard side and correct the orientation, but will block the area and loose radiator support.

RAIJINTEK – PAEAN an Aluminum dual chamber Open frame/Bench table ATX chassis.

EDIT: Front IO ports can be put on the top of the case. Didn't see that option.

Very Core looking. Although, with the paean I can just roll the case on its lid and not change anything.... Hmmm

Just wanted to offer a different option.

Also I have some concerns about the Core P3 case, so If you don't mind I want to ask a few questions.

1-) Are you going to use the components listed in your spec list?
2-) If yes, will it be custom water cooled?
3-) If no, what is the model of your GPU? Is it thicker than 2 slot?
4-) Do you have a plan for upgrade for a PCI-ex 4.0 motherboard/GPU combination.

The reason of my questions;
-Core P3 case GPU support is only for 2 SLOT and the GPUs thicker than 2 SLOT won't fit, even if it fits, will suffocate if it is air cooled. This case is mostly for cutom watercooled systems.

-Core P3 comes with PCI-ex 3.0 extension cable ( Thermaltake is not known for reliable extension cable producer ). You will have to replace the cable when you upgrade your system to PCI-ex 4.0 motherboard/GPU combo or have to build your system without any cable, change the PCI-ex Gen 4.0 to Gen 3.0 in order to use the cable that comes with the case.

Build would be new except for GPU/PSU/Storage from my system specs list to the left.
Cooling would be with an AIO as stated in OP.
GPU is an FE ;)

I have cables, nbd there.

Also, you may want to enable my signature, I am well versed in the P3 and what is possible. Also why I am leaning to a table top (with legs not a clamp) monitor arm and just mounting a P3 to it.

I didn't look at your signature. :)

When you use Core P3 keeping both the storage configuration and PSU will be problematic. If you keep the HDD cage, you can't use your PSU. If you keep the PSU, you have to uninstall the HDD cage. You can only use SFX PSU, if you want to keep the HDD cage ( at least according to the Thermaltake's web page. ) .

Also, it will be difficult to find an option, when you decide upgrading to a newer GPU. All RTX 30 series are all 3 to 4 slots, and finding a FE GPU is nearly impossible.

BTW, just to cover my bases, I have another option for the case. This doesn't have a tempered glass, but has enough opening to shine RGB through :D

The first bit, we are looking at two different things.
You linked the Core G3, I want to use the Core P3. The P3 has an internal support for the drives I have.

Not against modding the chassis bracket when or if 3Series becomes an option for me at a reasonable cost.

I've had some Riotoro bits in the past, and unless their quality shot way up, I'm not so sure I want to try them again. Looks more solid than what I am used to, but I'm not so sure I dig on the gym locker aesthetic. The roundness and flexibility is nice though.

Figured Id check, and it seems the Core P3 has removable corner supports, which is what is used to strengthen the chassis and as the duck-foot mounting location. I can simply drill holes and flip the case, but I would want some plugs to fill the factory holes.

The first bit, we are looking at two different things.

Oppss... Sorry my bad. I didn't pay attention to the google search result ( don't know why, but first product page related link was the one I share with you - previous ones were amazon and newegg links ).

I haven't personally built a system with Riotoro cases, so can't say I know the brand very well. Other models on the site doesn't look like a quality ones, but the model I've sent wasn't that bad.

If you are planning to hang the case, only option seems to be Core P series. There is a concept case recently shown, but don't know if it has a VESA mount option. I have to ask my contacts for specs and release details.

EDIT: The concept case I mentioned has VESA mount support.
