Looking for (generic) GPS Tracker software

Hi.

I'd like to know if there's some (generic) GPS tracker software that uses the RS232 protocol for a Phoenix FlexTrack GPS unit.

I'm using the program PConfig (http://www.flextrack.dk/files/PConfig.zip) to configure the unit. Which would work well, but I'm missing a driver on this computer to be able to detect the unit with the aforementioned PConfig program. I'm able to connect to the unit with one of the older computers that have the driver, but not with one of the newer Windows machines that I'm using.

You prob need NMEA device drivers. What are you trying to accomplish?

I'm basically trying to configure the Flextrack GPS unit with the PConfig program. TGPS doesn't work.

Have you tried a USB-Serial Converter?
