Hey Guys,

I'm looking to upgrade my gaming PC in preparation for some new titles coming out. (BF3, TOR, etc)

Need some recommendations for a CPU. I'll also be adding memory so some suggestions there would be great as well..

Thanks!

You should wait a month or so. And perhaps you should pay me a visit again. ;) lulz.

Id say a good 2500k setup. but no doubt someone will tell you to wait as AMD "bulldozer" is so close

Hey good memory! Got more stuff for sale?

BTW as for cpu's I'm an Intel guy.

I tihnk i might be able to hook you up:laugh:.

Freedom eclipse is right, 2500K is good for games, 2600K if ya do a bit of rendering.

so you wanna dump your 750? If so you'll need mobo for 1155. An the 2500K is the best perf/price gaming CPU, you can't go wrong.

That's what I figured. Do you have an i7 2600K W/ 8MBc (3.4ghz) by chance?

2500k makes the most sense for me right now so I'm gonna go with it. Now I just need to figure out what Mobo I'm gonna run. I've been chatting with cadaveca - there seems to be more out there right now for the z68 chipset? I really only need p67 though. Recommendations?

Since I'm at it I'm looking to move to a 2TB HDD as well. Looking for the best quality/price ratio.

Z68 boards tend to be a little more pricier then P67 boards. but it really all depends on if you really need the features that the Z68 offers.

I was going to go with a Asus P67P8 Deluxe, then the Z68 came out and i went the Z68 instead. Kinda wish i could turn back time. but it still overclocks well so im not complaining
