Which video editor is best for trimming, slow mo effects, video quality fixes, transitions, titles etc ?

1. Sony Vegas 9
2. Cyberlink PowerDirector Ultra
3. Pinnacle ?

It has to be packed with features AND simple, like Mac OS :)

:rockout:

1) wich sony vegas? are you talking about pro?
2) Dont like cyberlink software
3) pinnacle isn't the best from what i've been told and read

i used sony vegas pro 9 and that was a AWESOME program, it is expencve but well worth it

If its for home use, Vegas Movie Studio would be fine. Pinnacle isn't that great, Don't get Vegas Pro unless you are really serious about editing, otherwise its a waste of money.

well depending on what he wants to do with it. if its just cut out certain parts of the video and put it in another spot then vegas is fine non pro. but if you want to do fram by frame shit, get pro

yeah thats what I meant by my post...but if all hes gonna do is cut sections out, all he needs is windows movie maker, in all honesty, it does what its intended to do, and at no price. But if you want good transitions and some pretty good, but basic effects, then by all means spend the money on vegas movie studio.
