I just got blue screen stop error while running a game...

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL .. 0x000000A

I'd suspect the ram but i replaced it recently with another identical kit in hopes of rectifying aforementioned issue.

I'm thinking faulty ram slots or something on the motherboard...

What do you guys think?

TY! :)

Edit: i don't know how usefull this will be, but here is a link to related minidump; Mini082210-01.dmp
If you need some more info or have any ideas, post :D

What are the rest of your system specs? are you running any overclock's? are your temp's normal?

you can fill in your system specs by clicking "private messages" in the top right of this fourm, and then "Edit system specs" from the list on the left.

Phenom II 955 @ 3.2 stock, Hyper 212+ (CPU COOLER)
Corsair 2gb ddr3 1333 c9 currently running @ stock
Corsair Tx650w
CM690
HD5770

Temps are fine.. well sorta.. cpu idles at 30 can get up to mid-high 50s under load
GPU idles 41, 74ish under load, 80-85 with crysis

Nothing else is oc'ed either

PS: I swear i remember filling in my system specs... guess they got lost :p

From my own experience that error code is something to do with hardware, but I'll be honest I wouldn't want to bet on my opinion, but I'm always happy to throw my opinion in to see if it can be of any use :)

Hmmm, no overclock, temps are reasonable, reset the BIOS?

This is basically an access violation. It can be caused by bad (corrupted) drivers or bad hardware.
This error sucks as it can be caused by just about any hardware device or driver in your system.

The thing is, i'm running on a 3-4 day old clean install with just the latest updates, drivers and a couple of games... also ESET antivirus and i have a few other bits running (namely GPU-Z and and CoreTemp) but that's all the system has on it.

after switching over the suspect (comp had been failing prime95 tests) ram kit with a new one and before reinstallling the OS, i cleared the CMOS, which resets the bios

This doesn't sound like good news :)

Maybe i'll stress test until i get a more conclusive BSOD..

The only way to nail this error down it to start removing things.
Start by taking any non-essential hardware out of the system, one thing at a time.

Well the only non essential hardware would be one of the DIMMS cos there's no onboard GPU.. guess i'll do that later... or when i next get a BSOD

Edit: I'm going to go and test the two sticks individually with memtest... there goes my sunday lol

You can try reseating everything too. It's kind of a crap shoot with this error. :/

Previously before replacing ram and HDD i was getting page_fault_in_nonpaged_area and memory_management; i has another thread about this here but it's very long and text-wall-like

I have the same mobo and have a problem of when 2 sticks of ram, blue screen or just sudden shutdown, so im also buying new pair of ram and see if that works...
