Simple enough question.

If you do use them, please list how. i'm 9,000 times more interested if you use them for something that isnt World of Warcraft.

Myself, i've only used macro features once in titan quest. Had it set to hit "1" and then click the mouse right afterwards, so that a single press of my thumb button fired off spell #1 at the targeted location. I've been struggling to find other macro uses since (especially on my keyboard)

the only use i've had for the keyboard macros is in the original supreme commander/forged alliance, where it does the following
`
ren_shownetworkstats
enter
`
which brings up a menu showing everyones ping/performance in MP games. useful to locate laggers.

I use it for Minecraft, and simple cut-copy-paste commands. So far I am loving it for those basic usage, and slowly populating those G keys.

I use them for shortcuts like gpuz or Evga precision. I also have to resize pictures alot so run a custom command.

I have 18 macro keys x3 modes and only use 6 at most. :p

Same here, only really use G keys for commands in Photoshop to resize and save for web.

I used to use them in things like word to do superscript and subscript and also various Greek letters.
They saved me a lot of time when writing my astrophysics dissertation.

Nope. Don't even have them on my cheap keyboard. Don't really care for it either, but I've been thinking about setting up some scripts for launching Notepad and some other programs using Autoit. It seems like it's a bit like basic, but with scripts. ^^

I have the buttons but never use them. I'd rather they were not there TBH because it makes the keyboard too big.

I use my G keys for fraps and site shortcuts (Hotmail/TPU etc)

I use them in COD to issue rCon commands to server.

I dont use them. While I have the ability to add them via my lycosa software I just think its too much hassle to remember WTF I set up so i dont bother. Now if I had one of those OLED keyboards that I could set a picture too then possibly. Only because then id remember what the key map was/for.

i have that problem.

having one on the keyboard and one on the mouse works well enough for me.

I've used them to cheat in street fighter once, other than that I can't really find any other use for them, I do use the mouse buttons heavily though, the 2 thumb buttons I almost always assign in all games, it just makes things easier.

Outside of gaming, I don't use them at all.
