Ok, my Mad Dog 7 in 1 drive is not working correctly. This drive used to work flawlessly but i soon noticed it missing from "My Computer." I've tried to update the firmware but since the drive isnt recognized in my computer it says it cannot locate the drive! The model is MD-16XDVD9. this WAS an external drive but i put it in my pc. I have tried to change the jumper setting, uninstall it in device manager and reinstall it with the add hardware application, but i have not had any luck yet.can anyone help me? Replies appreciated!

Drive controller configuration issue, or BIOS issue. Make sure controller drivers are correct. Check Mobo manuel, check Asus site for Mobo drivers/information regarding SCSI drives. May also be a Windows issue(not as likley).
