How can i do this? i got a MCE remote that was being trashed at bby, it went to a Gateway. the receiver is a ehome infared.

i want to be able to hit pause play ect and stop a youtube video or something that is a embedded video like that. is there such a thing possible?

try intelliremote(thx Tigger for shedding light on this app) it rocks
I don't know if it works for youtube
but you can configure it any way you want

i donwloaded it but i dont see how this helps me?

can you use the remote?
also don't forget you can remap the keys anyway you want.

yes i can use it, but i told it to play to acutally be a left click and it did nothing.

did u try assigning it to the spacebar?

i use that too.

The idea is that you can rebind the keys from your remote to be standard media keys - play and pause built into your keyboard, or other keyboard keys.

The idea would be to bind a profile for your web browser, find out what keys youtube works with and then bind those keys to buttons on the remote.
