Just doing a re-ball on a RX 470 when I was confronted with this. I'm honestly not sure about this pad here, as I know there are no-connect pads added during manufacturing, and when checking resistance on the other pads in same location I get nothing. Seems to be connected to nothing but I am still curious if anyone else has seen this...
