im ready to upgrade my memory finaly yay

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227178

i have this ordered already, im wondering if anyone has any experience with memory like this,.. im thinking im going to be running it at 800mhz, if i do, will i be able to run it with tighter timings than its 1066 timings? i should be able too right?

the only reason i ask is, i got ahold of some 667mhz ddr2 when i built my computer for cheap, and for some reason i was 100% unable to hit 800mhz not even with overly high timings :?

also wondering what problems i might run into cooling wise, guessing im going to have to run a fan on them, what about those heat spreaders, are they any good?

That is some good ram and you should be able to run those settings no problem @1066. Not sure why you want to run it at 800 speeds but you should be able to get a bit tighter, say 4-4-4-12 perhaps at 800.

i want to run it at 1:1 thats why

and my cpu cooler is stock and im on an e2140

the lowest i could run it at 1066 with 1:1 would put my cpu at 3.2ghz thats with a multiplier of 6 :?

would i be the first person to ever do that?

I had a set of the 2GB kit black SLI ones. Had them running at 3-4-4-9 for benching and whatnot, reformated since, don't think I have the screenies anymore. On a side note, I forgot to reset them b4 I fell asleep, too many beers, and I woke up to a no boot.

Wanna guess.....ram was toast, but it was damn good fun!

SLI lol, i wonder whats up with that/... they will ofcource work fine on an intel box right? :P
