Noobie looking for help/pointers once again...

I currently own 3x Deco S4, that we are quite happy with. I previously had 1x Ubiquiti AC Lite, which didn't work well enough for me and my neighboring house. The S4 seemed to be the solution to our coverage problems, since it was just plug-n-play, pretty much. And easy to maintain and keep track of as well. Stable wifi speed as well.

However, IF i were to upgrade from the Deco S4, which mesh system gives MORE coverage than the S4 and that's also just plug-n-play and nothing overly fancy? Budget: About the same as Deco S4 + about €/$50 extra.

TP Link's M9 Plus is a tad above my budget, unfortunately. Great coverage it seems, but too pricey. Any similar ones than those? Or, can we just buy the S4 DUO package and place them in suitable locations so we will end up having 5x S4 instead of 3x, or will that not help much?

And no, it doesn't have to be TP-Link only. I just took an example.

We are also not in a rush to upgrade. It was simply a thought i had that IF we were to upgrade, which one would be an upgrade from the Deco S4.

Like always: I am located in Norway, so we don't have everything you lot have over at the states, unfortunately.

My bold underline added,

Then why even consider an upgrade now? Two things come to mind. (1) If you need to expand coverage, why not just add another node to your current system? And (2) if you want to upgrade to something better in the future, wait until that time comes, then see what's available. There may be something newer and better then.
