I been looking for one but there aren’t much choices to choose from for a micro ATX sized X99 motherboard, I looked at ASRock’s X99M Killer simply blows EVGA’s X99 Micro out of the water with better hardware specifications and features. It has twice the digital VRM phases for better power efficiency, dual LAN and more SATA3 ports..
Do you guys if its worth a look?

Just released is the Gigabyte X99M gaming 5 G1 which is also worth a look. Though of your first options the Asrock is a better option compared to the EVGA in my book.

Apparently the pricing its decent.. no bad feedback its always a good sign

why to choose a matx mobo? or u care about the price msi x99s sli plus will also a good choose to meet ur need

What do you intend to use the PC for? I can't recommend skt2011-3 if your end goal is gaming.

+1. Why that socket and why mATX?
That too, I can maybe understand a 5820k for more cores in a smaller package, but you miss out on being able to use 40 PCI-E lanes and have 8 DIMM slots which are rather large perks of the platform.

While I can understand that there is some level of sexiness to having a 6 core machine in a small package, I don't think it's a wise thing to do with respect to using funds effectively though.

I agree, though I can see myself personally wanting one if I was for say doing a gaming/encoding rig with the 40 LANE chips (5930K/5960X) and to Dual GPU cards for something seriously crazy in a small package. I do agree on the 4 slots of memory though as that can be a drawback especially if your wanting to use beyond 32gb of ram since 16gb sticks are not exactly a normal thing at least yet (err I do not see them for sale except in ECC variants mostly).

Depends on what the OP's needs are in all honesty as just for gaming it really does not make much sense unless the needs for those extra cores are shown.
