Looked at the SanDisk Cruzer Fit USB 2.0(CZ33) and Ultra Fit USB 3.0 (CZ43) and the Samsung Fit USB 3.0 (MUF-32) . Often reviewers on Amazon.com complain about high temperatures that these drives produce. I would like to get a short drive to put in my car, my car's entertainment system reads USB 2.0. I would write about 1-2GB of MP3 to it and then it would sit mostly in the car's dash.
Would overheating be a problem for me? I have a full size drive in there right now and I would like something more inconspicuous.
I don't want the drive to damage my car's entertainment system with high temperatures. Anyone have personal experience with these stubby drives?
