Minimize to systray is hilarious, and changing that resets GPU-Z

I was wondering why it kept closing on me.

And is there a way to keep the sensor data if you check that option?

Hi,
Lots of instances
Even defender is pissed

I say keep going

Hi,
Kept minimizing to system tray "he never looked there" instead of taskbar like most apps would do, looks like to me and he just kept opening up another instance lol

Can you explain what you're doing and what happened?

If you click the program in the taskbar it minimizes, and by default it minimizes to systray. I usually do that instead of clicking the button in the upper right area. But the habit of minimizing that way is so strong I didn't even remember doing it, so I assumed I accidentaly closed it, and so I started the program again. I was messing around with undervolting so I wanted it to run. Eventually I noticed the many instances running, and closed everone except the first one. Then I went to settings and disabled the "minimize to systay option" and all the very useful sensor data cleared.

@W1zzard -- is there any way to put a max instances limit, please?

Say, no more than 5-6 copies of GPU-Z, or simply make it customizable by choosing how many in Settings? :)
Then when limit is reached, and you try to run 1 more instance, for an error to show and then GPU-Z to close.

Maybe a small, inobtrusive funny picture in the dialog box would be nice too. :D
(Something along the lines of trying to run/do too many things at once...
I am thinking of something like Imgur and other websites show when you try to "take a wrong turn" i.e. open a non-existing URL.)

I doubt someone would need more than 5-6 GPU-Z copies at once, or if so, it will be very rare. :)

My suggestion is to say at most 10.
