Motherboard: MSI X470 Gaming Pro MAX.
OS: Windows 10 2004

It used to work fine with the previous AMD RAID driver (released back in November 2019).

Anyone else?

Neither HWiNFO64, nor CrystalDiskInfo show anything.

Fun fact: my NVMe drive reports SMART just fine.

The HDDs (Seagate 8TB) are fine too, it's just a driver issue.

Well looks like you already found the solution.

Still no fix from AMD. No one else has noticed it?

Considering the driver was released only a little over a week now then it doesn't surprise me there hasn't been a fix released yet, can you not use the previous driver until it is, is there a specific reason you updated the driver such as a problem with the older one? I would have thought in the case of raid arrays it would be more a case if it isn't broke don't fix it rather than updating drivers a week after release, you could have waited for other users feedback before biting the bullet yourself as some do with Windows 10 updates..

The last working driver is from November 2019, almost 1 year ago. Windows 10 has 6-month update cycles and they recommend installing the latest chipset/RAID drivers.

Really, I wasn't aware of this as chipset and raid drivers aren't usually updated all that often afaik

Newer raid driver is out now and does not resolve this :( sorry for bump but seemed relevant to mention, for some reason tho if i rollback only drivers it still breaks until i uninstall as well, suspecting its new raidxpert2 app that is causing issue it doesn't automatically startup for me as well anymore.

I’ve tried to report it to AMD multiple times to no acknowledgment. Basically all my SATA drives are “invisible” once RAID is enabled.

If mailed them directly first thing they ask is dxdiag i dont think they realize its their own driver im gonna keep nagging them now, im very sensitive to ignorance from developers if they ignore me.

I’m part of their beta team. Trust me I’m approaching staff about it…

I personally suspect its raidxpert2 utility not playing well it does not even automatically startup for me anymore if i rollback driver and reboot i have no smart status until i uninstall old driver as well to which point it reverts back to an older vision of raidxpert2 but i could be wrong, i cant get smart status to work even disabling it and re enabling it again, they should probably do a hotfix at this point.

Personally I think it was an AGESA update because when I first built the rig I could still see my non arrayed drives info there’s only been one RAID driver update and it changed nothing that wasn’t already broken

a driver from 2019 still reports smart status for me but i have to roll back and then uninstall new driver for it to work.
