I have all the setup needed but the mobo blowed up. So I would like to get a motherboard for a socket 775 Q6600 core 2quad, using DDR2-800 and with onboard video with HDMI plug. I don't care what people gonna say about performance I just wanna use this board for my HTPC. Preferable 4 memory slots but could go with 2 if they can handle 4gigs sticks of ddr2. I could maybe consider a board with same specs but bundled with a video card PCI-E having an HDMI port. I really want HDMI port NON-NEGOTIABLE!!!

Thank you guys and submit the offers or suggestions if you saw something on E-bay, ncix, tigerdirect or newegg. :)

Dam, good luck in finding one, and bay is not allowed on these forums. Shame the HDMI connection has to be onboard as it's not that hard to pick up a low end PCI-e card and would make it easier to get a 775 mobo.

I have an Asus P5G41C-M motherboard. It has onboard HDMI and VGA, plus it features two DDR2 slots and two DDR3 slots. I have the bare board and I/O plate, but might be able to come up with a few cables and what-not if you need some.

I currently have a C2D E6500 in it with 2x1GB PC2-6400 Mushkins.

Intel has one fully equipped like i want on newegg but 69.99 i think.

How much? I'm gonna do some shopping but up to now the hdmi on this one does not support audio.

I was hoping for $45 shipped in the lower 48, but it might cost a couple bucks extra since you're in Canada.

Were you able to get audio on HDMI? Some sites tells Yes , some No and some Yes with Win7 drivers but no hdmi sound after installing the asus drivers.

never tried, and I don't have a system to use it in ATM :(

Ok. So I'm gonna take a look and send an email to asus to be sure. Thx !

Found it close this thread please! :-)
