Modded Registry. Want Old Back....

that was taken for the regeditor help file ....mostly M$ space filler
 
AH HA thats it can i re-do waht i did by changing everyhting back to waht it was and re-starting i rember waht i changed and waht i didnt + its all there ne ways

that sounded like your best option, tried it yet!
 
yea it boots in safe mode fine ill try changing all the keys i changed setting them to default values
 
He did, but he restored it wrong.

so waht is the right way of doing it, and can it be done in safe mode, i tried changing all the keys back but still nothing ill probally have to take it in to get it back to normal:shadedshu whatever i cant find my original disk or my key so yea...

Try scandisk first, this just might fix the files.

thats a negative on the bolth of those. i dont have my windows disk, error checking came up with nothing thanks ne ways

I probably have a couple backup floppys/tapes/cds/dvds for each month I've owned a computer, kind of a waste, but has helped three times now. Boy all that money down the drain for the last 25 years!!:cry:
 
so do you thinkif i buy a new sound card i can get my sounds back cuz i dont wanna try if i cant
