Hey, Guys,

I have a SAMSUNG UR550 4k monitor, which supports by definition 10 bits of colors. But in windows, it's set to 8 bits. I tried to change it in VGA driver (7900XTX) but it didn't work. Can someone help me, please? Thanks!

I heared some one on this forum had problems with 10 bit because they enabled it over Adrenalin instead of Windows display settings, also what cable do you use?

edit:

Also it seems like it doesn't support real 10bit only 8 + 2 frc

And I think you need to use an DP 1.2 Cable because HDMI 2.0 MAX doesn't provide enough Bandwidth. (sorry for the bad translation on the screenshot)

Some monitors can not do it at their maximum resolution and refresh rates. My UW can't do 10bit when it's running at 3440x1440 @ 165Hz, but it can at 144Hz.
