Monitor Setup Help Please

I just finished my new build and Im using a Viewsonic VX2753MH LED Full HD monitor. The problem is that when I set the resolution to 1080p the desktop is larger than the screen. I have to resize it in the Nvidia control panel but then the resolution is not 1920 x 1080, but rather something smaller like 1840 x 1040. Is there any way to get full 1920x1080 with normal image size??

BTW, my gpu is Gigabyte GTX 670 with latest drivers and MOBO is ASUS P8Z77-V Pro

Yea, you have to go back to resolution after you resize it then set it to 1920x1080 again and apply it.. it's kind of like tricking it..lol. I have a gtx680, had the same issue.
Really annoys me how I have that problem with nvidia but not with ati.

I have done that but then everything is kinda blurry. I have tried different scaling options and settings but it stays blurry. Only way to see it clear is to let it at 1080p or smaller resolution like i said. Its really annoying
