My second question is can you recommend a replacement hd screen of around the same size? maybe a couple of inch bigger?
 
monitors usually dont have a very high re-sell value. most of the time people keep it as spare or give it away to family. & since your monitor is only 20" then is probably not worth the effort trying to sell it
