Hi so I wanted to purchase this motherboard ASRock Z68M/USB3 but was kind of confused if it would be able to handle this graphic card because I can't find anywhere where it says ATI or NVIDIA on the motherboard or nor the description.

Questions:
1. What if I get a mobo that does not support 1600mhz ddr3 memory card; will it work properly?
2. I am building a computer that is essentially used for AutoCad and also have multiple applications open at the same time; will an i 2500 and 8gb ddr3 1600mhz memory be able to handle this no problem?
3. Motherboards don't really boost performance right? It just gives more options like pci slots, memory slots, different types of chipsets, etc.. right?

The i5 750 can do it, no need for upgrade. But you can get a stronger nVidia GPU to accelerate if you're drawing 3D, or if you're going to game.
 
any 1600mhz memory should do fine on the board, but if u want something u r sure will run at what they r set to, check AsRock's QVL list for the board: http://www.asrock.com/mb/memory.asp?Model=Z68M/USB3

and the GFX will also work doesn't matter of it's AMD Crossfire or Nvidia SLi supported bcs it's only got one PCI-Express 2.0 x16 slot.

and one last thing, get a i5-2500k if u got the money and oc it, bcs even for AutoCad it won't hurt that much.

Going for micro ATX mobo make sense in a slim case home theater PC. Micro ATX mobos are not strong enough to overclock i5 2500k, because of it's near 200 watt peak power draw @4.5GHz.

Why aren't they strong enough? They are made with the same hardware as a comparable ATX board. Only difference is the actual size of the board.
 
Nope! CPU voltage varies rapidly from 0.922 to max 1.55V (for SB), depending of actual CPU load and that info is generated by CPU VID IC logic. Voltage conversion from PSU 12V rail is supplied by additional components , called VRMs and PWMs. VRM acts as voltage controller of multiple PWM phases and CPU current is floating through these phases. In SB mobo you got distinct CPU , IGP and DRAM phases, visually counted by their box-shaped inductor components. Also there is Digi VRM designs , where additional data link is established between VRMs and PWMs. It is common now to have 16 CPU&iGPU power phases (12 -phase for CPU, 4 -phase for iGPU) with all digital CPU-VRM-PWM feedback . ASRock Z68M/USB3 got only 4 + 2 CPU Power Phase Design and won't be serious overclocker.
 
Honestly have you looked at the Pro3-M? It has a better phase design and More ram slots. I got mine for like 90$ :)
