Does the Asus P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe motherboard support the Intel Core-2 Extreme QX6700 CPU?

welcome to TPU:D

it should do,out of the box,a bios update MIGHT be neccesary tho'.

Thanks for the quick response. This is my first build and I cannot get system to post.

Conf: Asus p5n32-sli se Deluxe motherboard
Intel Core 2 extreme QX6700 CPU
Corsair DDR2 Twin2x1024-6400PRO memory Pair
Two e-GeForce 8800 GTX Graphics cards
Plexor PX-760A DVD
Western Digital Raptor 150G: HD
Enermax 1000W PSU

Have removed and reinstalled all components, fans run, green lite on motherboard, Lights on memory cards: 3 green, 3 yellow, 3 orange. No signal to monitor. Any suggestions on what needs to be done next????

try it with a single stick of ram,and maybe a sinle gfx card, disconnect everything but 1 stick of ram and 1 gfx card.see if it will post.have you got another socket 775 chip to try too,see if it is the chip it dont like.if it posts with another chip you may be able to flash the bios with a newer version to support the quad.

i would have thought the board should be ok with that chip outta the box tho'.

Thanks again. Tried all of the above and still no post. Guess it must be either the MB, the memory or the CPU but where to start? Have contacted Corsair with memory questions. If you have any other ideas I sure would appreciate them. Thanks for all your help.

Yes it should, because I was considering getting it (until I looked at the price). Is the P5N32 SLI SE Dual 16x SLI? because if its only 8x SLI, if will not operate.

your board is here
your board doesnt support quads. sorry man.
tell you what though, send that board back, get what i have for $10 more.
it supports quads AND dual 8800's.
