Ok, When I have a word file open, i minimize that word window to open another word file. but what does word do?! it opens new word window as well as restores other minimized word window!!! :banghead:
this is just killing me! I checked all option and googled all i could

the guy in the link below has the same problem:
http://help.lockergnome.com/office/Stop-windows-restoring--ftopict933364.html

I have XP and MS Office 2007

I saw that problem in a customer's comp last week. She was using Word 2000, so I talked her into using OpenOffice because I couldn't find any reinstall disks.

I don't think reinstall will help since that problem was there as long as i can remember and it got to the point when i start getting really mad and ... well, I'm a proper person, so i don't throw things or yell... lol

must be an XP setting...mine can run as many as I want and they will all open minimized in Vista 64.
