There was an old laptop forums that was shut down about 2yrs ago. Those forums had tons of info on upgrading a laptop gpu like this, but sadly that info was deleted when the forums were deleted.Seen where? typically GPU BIOS is tied into the system BIOS on a laptop and rarely can you upgrade them, not that it would make much difference anyway as they are both old so 20% faster 980m is still going to pale in comparison of anything relatively modern, save up for a laptop or desktop upgrade to something within the last couple of years, you won't get much more out of such an old system regardless if you could find a 980m and manage to mod the system bios to accept it which I highly doubt you can
