Hello guys,

I bought a msi r9 280, last wednesday, after I instaled it I noticed that the image was kinda lagging a bit while I was playing, it kinda stops not for a huge period of time but for 1 second or something like that,

This morning after i turned the computer on i started playing and i got a huge bug on the screen like a big line fucked up on the game. And was like for 3 seconds or so.

This "lagg" happens amost every minute, its not very notable but its visible and anoying.

Should i change it for a neew one ? Since I have the guarantee.

Thanks

I would. Definitely doesn't sound like a healthy card.

Edit: Fill out your System Specs as well ;)

Was interested in your PSU which is more than adequate. I say RMA the card.

sounds like a dead card to me but i don't trust anything by cheaptech I would look into a better psu as well

ive got this psu for almost 3 years, never gave me a single problem..
until it goes thermonuclear and takes the whole system with it especially at the 3 year mark ,....
that unit is just re-branded CWT-manufacturer model

CWT aren't the worst you could have. But then I am speaking more of their current offerings. 3yrs ago I couldn't speak on their quality.

there not awful now but back then they where the OEM for pretty much every low grade psu on the market
Antech used to use them

Any brand PSU can go thermalnucler. Just some have a higher chance. Replace the 280 for sure
