Hi everyone,
I would like to ask for your help please!!!!
I recently had issue with my MSI Z170 Gaming Pro. I made an update of my BIOS from msi live update, and it crashed. It has restarted automatically the PC and then, nothing, just dark screen "No signal".
I have already done "clear cmos", took off the Cmos battery. Removed DRAM and GPU. But nothing happenned.
I've searched some solution on the web, found that it's possible to make usb stick with bios uptade inside, tried that, but nothing happened too.
So, I'm kinda lost.
Does anyone here have another solution for me or anything else to try ?
If not, could you help me locate the BIOS on the board so that I could replace it.
I live in an African country, so the only thing I can do is just buy a new BIOS and replace it here.

Thanks for your response

Try shorting the CMOS jumper using this method:

● Go to BIOS (Del) and press F6 to load optimized defaults.
● Short the Clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard.
● Press the Clear CMOS button, on the rear I/O panel.

You can also use the M-Flash feature (within the BIOS) to reflash your BIOS to whatever version you like. You just need another computer or laptop to download the BIOS onto a flash drive.

Just FYI -NEVER try to update the BIOS using the Live Update utility. It is a horrible idea to update your BIOS through Windows, as opposed to doing so through the BIOS. Many a board have been bricked by Live Update. Just check the MSI user forums. Its great for updating everything else - but never the BIOS. Thats what M Flash is for.

Thank you @hapkiman for you response, but I've already tried these things in vain. :(
I have no access to the bios because when the PC is powered on, there's nothing on the screen, it gives "no signal". I've already tryed to take off my GPU to use internal graphics, to see if it was my GPU who crashed, but nothing happened too.
Yes, unfortuntely I discovered it later that the BIOS must not never be updated from windows, and should not upgrade BIOS if the mobo works fine.
By the way, I think the MSI Z170 Gaming Pro doesn't have this Clear CMOS button, on the rear I/O panel. Does it? If so, I've not found it yet!
