I have a critical issue and i need help, i have an e3 pro gaming v5 motherboard from asus, i tried to update the bios but got stuck and then i tried to enter the bios it keep telling me that i need to use the same .cap file to finish the update

i tried to remove the CMOS battery
i tried to reset through the CLR jumper
i tried to put my flash drive with the same file, it doesnt appear in the EZ flash utility
Tried everything on the internet but nothing is changing
i tried to update using internet but also nothing happend

I need a clear steps to reslove this issue and would appreciate it

All i can think of is Asus crash free bios 3. Google it and watch some videos. May sort it out.

I’ve watched alot but nothing seems to fix the issue i even removed everything connected to the board and left it for hours but also i got nothing

Try another usb flash drive.

Please look at this thred, but be very carefull, because it can delete your MAC address.

Read the Manual and see if Crash free Bios 3 is relevant in your situation, their website also mentions updating the Bios via the Internet as well as from within the Bios.
Failing that the Motherboard appears to have a swappable Bios chip that can be removed and changed without soldering.

Just a couple of random sites I found doing a quick Google.
