As the title says, my BiOS got corrupted and it wont show up when booting up my pc, however after 5 minutes of a complete black screen windows starts normally.
I cant play games with the BiOS corrupted science it makes it so after like 30 minutes of gaming i get 3 fps and 500 constant ping, leaving me with no other choice but to alt+f4 the game.
I can use my computer for other things like being in a discord call or watching videos.
My motherboard (Msi b250m gaming pro) has a switch or button to clear the cmos, restoring the Bios settings to factory, but i was wondering if it is safe to do that in my current cirmunstances i fear that doing that might cause my motherboard to die or something, any help?
I made another post about this that might be a little more detailed on the issue and how it happend but this time i have a different question so advice is appreciated!

You'll have to reset your BIOS settings to what you had before but other than that yes it's safe to clear CMOS to fix minor bugs. If you haven't I'd also recommend updating your BIOS to the latest stable version MSI offers for your board.
