The computer is the main one in my specs. Earlier today I put it to hibernate as I usually do when leaving it for a few hours. when I got back to it, I pressed a keyboard button to wake it as usual, and instead of the normal "Resuming" screen with windows logo, it was a light blue screen with white letters that say "Resume From Hibernation" but nothing ever happens. I've waited several minutes but nothing happened. I tried turning it off and on, same screen. I've tried turning it off for several minutes, same screen on boot. Ive tried turning it off and clearing cmos, same screen on boot. I tried a different stick of memory, same screen on boot. I even tried unplugging all the hard drives! And I cant even get to bios! Please help

Edit: I left it for several more minutes and it went to a screen that says:
error: no such partition.
grub rescue>

I used to have an ubuntu partition on the hdd, could it be something leftover from that? Idk im kindof at a loss

You have done basically what I would have done in the situation...I found this online..

That seems to resolve that issue. It seems to be linked with uninstalling Ubuntu.. =)

Thanks.

I finally fixed it, I rebooted it some more and finally the bios splashscreen came up. I unplugged a usb adapter, idk why that would prevent me from getting to bios but when I unplugged it everything was fine after that. I was able get into bios to change boot order to the correct drive, it had been trying to boot to my second hdd that had a partition with ubuntu on it at one time, which I deleted a long time ago but apparently something is still left of it. So everything is good now.

Ubuntu does nothing to the BIOS. That motherboard and usb drive have some issues with each other. Your motherboard seems to be the faulty one here.
