i notice every few clicks on the forums i am getting noticeable latency. every time it happens i see in the broswer status 'mystatus.skype.com' trying to load. any idea why this would be loading? i dont have skype installed.

It's the skype symbol similar to the AIM and MSN ones next to my name. It changes whether you are online or offline. I have also noticed this lagging the hell out of the page finishing to load.

Because mystatus.skype.com is where the image files are. It changes between the two when they're online or not in skype.

It actually didn't load for me under BondExtreme's post in that page.
