I figure I would create this thread to list tools or get peoples suggestions for tools for DLSS.

DLSS Swapper - Github link

DLSS Swapper is a tool that allows you to conveniently download, manage, and swap DLSS, FSR and XeSS dlls allowing you to upgrade or downgrade DLSS, FSR and XeSS version in a game without the game needing an update.

DLSS Tweaks - nexus mods

Allows using DLAA anti-aliasing, customizing DLSS scaling ratios, overriding DLSS DLL version, and choosing different DLSS3 presets.

DLSSTweaks

Wrapper DLL that can force DLAA onto DLSS-supported titles, along with tweaking scaling ratios & DLSS 3.1 presets.

DLSS4 update:
DLSS transformer models can now be enabled via preset J and K - just make sure your game is updated to DLSS v310, and then set the presets in DLSSTweaks config ("DLSSPresets" section)

OptiScaler - Github

OptiScaler is a tool that lets you replace upscalers in games that already support DLSS2+ / FSR2+ / XeSS (1), now also supports enabling frame generation in those same games (through Nukem's dlssg-to-fsr3 or OptiFG). It also offers extensive customization options for all users, including those with Nvidia GPUs using DLSS.
For example, if a game has DLSS only, OptiScaler can be used to replace DLSS with XeSS or FSR 3.1 (also works for FSR2-only games, like The Outer Worlds Spacer's Choice).
Key aspects of OptiScaler:

  • Enables usage of XeSS, FSR2, FSR3, FSR42 (RDNA4 only) and DLSS in upscaler-enabled games
  • Allows users to fine-tune their upscaling experience with a wide range of tweaks and enhancements (RCAS & MAS, Output Scaling, DLSS Presets, Ratio & DRS Overrides etc.)
  • Since v0.7.0+, added experimental DX12 frame generation support with possible HUDfix solution (OptiFG by FSR3)
  • Supports Fakenvapi integration - enables Reflex hooking and injecting Anti-Lag 2 (RDNA1+ only) or LatencyFlex (LFX) - not bundled3
  • Since v0.7.7, added support for Nukem's FSR FG mod dlssg-to-fsr3, only supports games with native DLSS-FG - not bundled3
  • For a detailed list of all features, check Features

thanks for posting these :rockout:

I use Optiscaler and DLSS Tweaks all the time. If I could only use one of these it would be Optiscaler as it pretty much does everything. I found DLSS Tweaks to be the quickest and easiest way to override DLSS presets that works in both Windows and Linux. I have a folder with dlsstweaks.ini (set all presets to K), dxgi.dll, and nvngx_dlss.dll (available on TPU). Throw those files next to the game's executable and enjoy.
