I just moved my system into a SilveStone GD05 case and placed it on my desk with my monitor on top to free up room on the ground. The monitor is a little high for my liking, so I'd like to find a height adjustable monitor mount that clamps to the desk. I tried Meritline and DealExtreme but couldn't find anything for under $40-50. Does anybody else have a cheaper recommendation? Preferably something in the $20 range, $30 tops.

I'm currently using a 23" Acer monitor, but may very well move to one of the 27" Catleap monitors, so being able to support up to 27" monitors is a plus.

I got my dual LCD stand of eBay for $55 shipped. They have decent deals on them if you look.

I noticed a lot of dual mounts that were in my price range, but I only need a single mount. :(

Anyway, I checked eBay, cheapest one was $37. I'm looking for a little cheaper. Thanks though!

Cheapest shipping method puts it at almost $50. I really don't want to spend more than $30, but will budge up to $35 if I have to. I see some cheaper ones, but they only have height adjustment and do not lean forward, which would render the monitor too far back.

I can't believe Monoprice, Meritline, and Dealextreme all failed me. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong places? Or searching the wrong items?

Or having a too tight budget.

That's probably it . I honestly didn't expect a tube of metal to be so expensive.

I moved things around on my desk and put the case under the printer so my LCD is back where it normally us. Guess I won't be needing the stand!

I just wanted to update this thread and let you guys know I found what I was looking for.

I stopped looking shortly after this thread was created, but after getting a new monitor I decided to give it another shot. Here's a really nice desk-clamp 3-way adjustable monitor arm for $30~ shipped.

I originally found it on Monoprice but checked Amazon and they had it for a little more expensive but with Prime shipping.
