the title says, i need a non windows defragger as windows one gives me error and im too lazy tp reformat.

oh, it MUST be freeware

Auslogics Disk Defragger.

I use Diskeeper Disk Defragmenter. Its automatic defrag function is nice. I used to format my hd once a year or so before I used it, but the last time i formatted (like 4 years ago) i installed this right away, and today my computer still runs like it did the day i installed windows.

I like the one in my sig it works great for some and not so great for others.. I love it my self and there payed version is even better imo.

I use diskeeper... Seems to do the job, and fairly quickly as well.

Dont use defraggler is so slow.

Perfect Disk 10 FTW!

For Xp my test showed diskeeper to be about the best and fastest...On Vista the built in defragger is the best, not the fastest in time but my harddrive tests showed better optimization with built in defragger(Command prompt)!Good luck!

+1 for perfect disc but its not free...Think they have a trial version you can check out!!

jk defrag es great, no bloatware, no install

Defraggler seems ok, Ultimate Disk defrag is no.1 for me

defaraggler is fast and works well

I use and recommend Diskeeper 2009 Pro. For me it's the best combination of low resource usage and defrag results. Set once and forget..defrags even most of the MFT on the fly, and more importantly, defrags all my drives without my interference.

Check out the free trial versions at their website and you can download and use it for a month or so.

defraggler is good. I like jkdefrag too.

Defraggler works quite well for me and it's updated pretty regularly, you can get it here.
