Linksys AC1900 Dual Band Wireless Router
Interesting. For the record, exactly 1 month ago I replaced my old Netgear WNR3500L wireless router with that very same Linksys. And I have to say, I love it. I used Linksys many years ago but after Cisco bought them, I started noticing quality issues so I moved to Netgear. That WNR3500L has performed flawlessly and the only reason I replaced it is because it only supported 2.4GHz and 802.11n. I wanted to take advantage of 5GHz and I needed the better bandwidth 11ac provides for a new Netflix streamer recently installed in the basement on the other end of the house. The 11n streamed fine speed wise (no buffering) but I kept losing connection to that distant device, likely also due to the floor/ceiling and 2 walls between it and the wireless router.
Good reviews pointed me to the Linksys and since Cisco sold them off a couple years ago, I thought I would give them a try again. It has worked great. I have a mixed network of DHCP assigned IP addresses and static IP addresses (for networked printers and network storage devices) and it was really simple to set those up. That distant Netflix device connects instantly and streams full HD videos without any buffering/stuttering. When the older grandkids come over and connect to my wifi, they complain they don't get that performance at their homes.
If I had a gripe, it is that the Linksys does not have as nice logging features as the Netgear. And the Netgear could be set to email me daily logs. I really liked that as I could see without logging in, who was trying to access my network, and how. It happens much more than most people realize.

Often dozens of times every day from locations in Russia, China, Turkey, Ukraine - even Belgium and elsewhere!
So, FWIW, if anyone is looking for a new wireless router, that Linksys AC1200 EA7500 is worth a serious look.
