I need a BIOS update for my Slot 1 computer with a Chaintech 6BTM0 motherboard. It doesn't recgonize my P3 750, so I have to use a 300MHz P2. I found something on softpedia but it's just a bunch of ROMS, no flashing software etc.

Anybody? I'd much rather have a 750MHz P3 in this thing than a 300MHz P2...

a mobo that old would need a floppy to flash. do you have one?

Yeah, thanks guys, I got the BIOS updated. It still only shows 512MB when I have 768MB... oh well, maybe it was a bad stick or something. But I can use my 750MHz P3 instead of the blast from the past, incredibly slow 300MHz P2.

what use do you have for a pc like that?

Ah, the fun aspect of toying around with old hardware... I want to use it as a Quake server and router.

nice :toast:

Hey, year-2000 hardware is old as hell, but it's great for running year-1996 tasks :)

yep

Yeah, umm... I didn't need the arrogance. The first link I already found, but I still needed the flashing utility.

sry just joking :toast:
