Expreview states that EA Games will release a demo of the upcoming Need for Speed: ProStreet game tomorrow.

The "driving area" of the game has been re-worked to offer a more authentic experience. As in the prequels, all race circuits will be closed - you will not be able to choose your own way from point A to point B in a race. A new damage model will be present in ProStreet, and the racer will have to repair his car after the race. 4 game modes should be available.

the 360 demos been out for like 2 weeks bout damn time

hope i can max this shit out and yet a ohter NFS

This game rocks on 360 so I only expect more of the same from the PC version, this seriously makes up for that lack lustre attempt Carbon...

I hope the is as good as people say. And I will be surprised if I`m not able to play on max settings with my machine.

Nice. Is this coming to PS3 as well?

tomorrow is usually considered midnight EST Casheti. You have to wait another hour and a half.

with EA its usually PDT so that would be 3am est

Hopefully it runs smooth as butter and looks better than NFSC even though I thought Carbon looked good, just not as good as MW IMO.

it looks promising to me,i loved carbon was a great game..but to go even farther to make us repair are damage is just sweeeeeeet

Hope they made it more like NFS PU lol...

I must have found Carbon a good game since I completed it 11 times.
But yeah repairing car damage should be a welcome feature.

Bring it on! What I've read about one Hungarian review said that the cars are actually hard to control now. This+the fact that it has damage and I feel an urge to get it.

If you look at these, you see that cars actually take time to accelerate now (like they should) and it's not instant top speed like it has been. Also with clutch introduced, those with shifters will surely like it.

Round the Corners Gameplay HD (don't pay attention to the worst driver ever)

Hatchback Havoc Gameplay HD (this seems like fun online)

It should be, but soon will see our selves :)

Those who said Carbon was great, I can't understand. It was so dark you couldn't see anything and still ran bad. I uninstalled the demo once I saw wheels pointing out the opposite direction you were turning while drifting.. (like a turn to the left, back slides out and tyres still point to the left. The car spins it doesn't drift!) Driving model was just bad all around, maybe you could get used to it after a while, but I couldn't.

For me it's first about the feel of driving, if it's good anything top of that is a plus. I urge anyone who likes Carbon to try out Street Legal: Redline (or the orginal one). Yes it looks like crap on todays standards, but once you have tweaked your ride right, you can powerslide for real.
4WD twinturbo 600hp ride with more power delivery to rear was just pure awesomeness to slide through corners. Mind you if you crashed you had to pay for the repairs your self and first take the car apart to do the repairs. Even tyres weared down and cost money too.

Maybe there was more to Carbon than the demo let us know and maybe those how like Carbon will hate or already hates Street Legal series. I can only hope we all like ProStreet together :)

I was about to say is it DX10, but dunno does an arcade racing game need DX10? Maybe for damage, crashes?

Die, "shtreet" racing sims, DIE!

The Fast and the Furious culture has killed the racing sims, although Test Drive Unlimited was a breath of fresh air. Eh, there is always the NFS modding community, although it aint what it used to be.

There is a demo, but for PS3, posted on November 1st on the official site...

So what`s up with the PC demo?

Meh, it will be another lame console to PC port, limited rez options and poor performance, its classic EA, little work for as much cash as they can :shadedshu just got a PS3 and the GFX are crap compared to my PC's, GRAW 2  the frame rates in most games are locked at 30fps but consistently go below that, take the darkness as an example, all this with no AF or AA on, PS3 will be used for only blu-ray in my abode.
