OK so i bought a new headset with my brand new PC. Connected everything and i already talked to my friend over teamspeak. So i know this headset works 100% But when i try recording my voice inside of the game with nvidia shadowplay,i get nothing. My voice isn't recorded. I did set it up in shadowplay to record my voice along with ingame audio. Then i right clicked on that speaker icon in the bottom right corner of my Win 7 desktop. Clicked on Recording devices. and here i could see that my front panel mic shows as connected. My microfone is switched on. But when i tried talking again,it doesn't register any sound. So here i right clicked on the "frontmic" icon and selected properties. Under properties i went to "listen" And checked the "listen to this device" box. Still nothing. I also tried "configure speech recognition" But this microphone just doesn't register any sound no matter what i do. And then again i went to teamspeak and talked to my friend. So i know the microphone works. I also tried plugging it directly int the motherboard in the back. With same results.
