I'v got all the parts on there way ready to build my new system.

last thing I need is the cooler. I'm looking at either the Arctic liquid freezer II 240mm/280mm or the 360mm vs the new DeepCool LT520(240mm) or LT720. (360mm)

this will be cooling a 7600x on a X670E in a lian li lancool III RGB case.

my main concern is noise as I will be using it for audio recording and I need to adjust noise levels to be as low as possible but not all the time. for refrence i'm currently using a NZXT kraken x52 and I would like the noise to be less then this model if possible. Problem is I cant find any reviews showing what noise levels these coolers would make on AM5 platform.

if anyone can help me choose or has a better alternative thats not to pricey. that would be great.
thanks

so if it's NOIZE then definitely go to arctic. after all, you can always buy Noctua fans and replace with them the stock fans and there will be dead silence ;)

yea noise is a main priority. I just remembered though that i do have 2 spare NZXT AER p120s. I really do like the asthetic look of that deep cool cpu block though. is it just a case of the fans being loud or do you mean the noise will also be louder on the pump unit compered to the arctic one?

To avoid high noise, you will want to set the power limit to Echo mode. Otherwise those fan will constantly ramp up and down as it reaches 95c. You do have a 7600X, so it might be less annoying.

I might get an air cooler if you’re serious about noise? Your CPU runs pretty cool as is, and most hunky coolers ought to be quieter than a pump with a mid-range CPU.

i ordered Deepcool AS500 PLUS for 7600X, but you need write message to Deepcool to get AM5 upgraded mounting kit. They need only proof that you have AM5 CPU or AM5 motherboard.

You want to go air. Liquid coolers can be quieter at high loads but are louder at light loads due to pump noise.

Get something like a Le Grand Macho RT or NH-D15 and simply use a fan controller / your mobo's software to tune down the fan speed when you want to record. The Macho RT can be run entirely passively so you can tune all the system fans down to 0% assuming the fans support it. You are going to want to do the same for the GPU.

You are going to want a portable sound booth at a minimum as well if this is any level of serious audio recording. These are typically $40. They will help filter high frequency noise and reduce sound reflections.

iv been doing just fine and do pro recording for clients with my current setup. portable booths are no good as it makes everything sound like a box. i get much better audio quality in my open space.
i just need to make sure this new set up will be on par or if i can get it less then my current one.
for the record the cooler im using is a kraken x52 240 along with an i7 7700k and rtx 3080.

bequiet dark rock pro 4. Monster big, and a little mess up with the install. But, as silent as passive literally... these fans are perfect! Sold out mine just because I don't like so big coolers, I wanted it as I try just. lol. I like swapping details :D

Irrelative to the case, precisely. The Lancool 3 cooling is sort of so good it can accompany any form of cooling system efficiently. Comes with three 140mm on front and another on rear, more for the further flavor from you.

I'm thinking to buy one for myself even though I don't need it. As far as the cooler goes, LF2 would probably fare better with the 140mm versions here. 280 would work, 420mm, even more.

I ended up going with the 280. the 420 was a bit to pricey and acording to a youtuber i was watching, from what i understand the 280 out performed the 360 and it was cheaper. will see how things go when it all arrives tomorrow.

Yeah, in this situation I bet the 280 would be superior than that Youtuber's 360mm test environment even. I was checking in on the pics of the case and it really puts 140mm fans to fine use.
