I have opteron 170 denmark processor. I have a ECS RX480-A V1.0 with the lasted bios. (Phoenix bios)

My opteron runs stock at 2.0ghz can anyone help me get to 2.2ghz or better yet 2.5ghz. Want to tune this u and have a decent dual core system for Crysis once it comes out....
erocker sent me these setting but i can't find any setting to match and change them,
FSB = 250
Mem divider = 1.66
HT freqency x4 (250 x 4 gives you 1000 HTT)

I have a reference to hammer fid and hammer vid also spread spectrum, cpu clock, and dim adjust on my manual but i dn;t know what to change. Opteron are very overclockable and have a way cool 4 pipe heatsink. Air cool 2.8 and 3.0 ghz have been reached. i just want to push it a little figured 2.5ghz would be asafe number to shoot for..

sounds like great settings to me from erocker.....It really sounds to me that you need to spend some time in you bios itself. Get to know it ! Lots of settings go by different names depending on mobo, and bios. Im sure if you look hard enough in bios you can find these settings. If bios is in fact PHOENIX AWARD.....goto genie bios settings and all will be right there at your disposal!
