Thank you for taking the time to help me out.

My issue is that I don't know exactly how much power my MSI motherboard USB-C port delivers.

It can never fast charge neither my phone which support 30W fast charging, nor anything else, I find this problematic when connecting the Meta Quest 3 via cable link to the pc using the usb-c port. the battery drops as if it's not plugged ,albeit at a slower rate.

The USB-C version is 3.2 I didn't manage to find out which generation, and whether it supports power delivery or not. Nothing in BIOS that indicates either.

The MSI motherboard is PRO B760M-P

I would be extremely grateful if anyone could help me figure this out, thank you for your time.

Your motherboard has 1x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C (Rear).

You might need a better cable.

Generally motherboard rear USB-C ports do not support power delivery (30w). There are add-in PCIe cards that can do this but they are quite expensive. An alternative is a phone charger or similar capable of delivering at least 30w with fast charging.

IIRC fast charging wouldn't work with a cheap thin cable I used before, later on it worked with a thicker/better cable.
